Literal Movement

What is this movement about?
Hey! I'm Alex Yum, one of the founders of the Literal Movement! What's Literal Art you ask? Literal Art is art where you get the name of an already existing piece of artwork and you make it different. You can use word play, grammar changes, or just make an overall deeper meaning simpler! For example, Pablo Picasso created The Three Musicians in his Cubism period. If you wanted to make it more contemporary, instead of using actual art, you could use cartoon characters to recreate the famous painting! Our goal is to give people who aren't gifted artists, a chance to make art for themselves. Anyone can do it! This is an easy way to let your creativity shine!
